The Adamah Youth Movement NY Coordinator leads regional engagement for Adamah’s teen Jewish environmental education and climate leadership programs across New York. Working closely with the national Adamah Youth Movement team and vibrant growing team of Adamah NY Hub, the Coordinator recruits, supports, and grows a network of Jewish teen leaders through a NY Regional Board of teens and with the broader teen landscape in NY, and with local chapters (Kvutzot) focused on environmental education, climate action, and community building. The Coordinator cultivates youth leadership, facilitates programs and gatherings, and connects teens to Adamah’s wider network of opportunities. The role also helps strengthen partnerships with Jewish institutions, community organizations, and climate initiatives throughout New York. The Coordinator will work collaboratively across Adamah teams, including youth empowerment, the climate action team, and community partnerships, to ensure strong integration between local teen engagement and Adamah’s national mission. Based within the Adamah NY Community Impact Hub, the Coordinator will often support the Hub’s broader programming, including in-person facilitation and larger community events. This position is based in New York and requires regular in-person engagement, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel for programs, retreats, and national gatherings.
