Adamah Detroit cultivates vibrant Jewish life—deeply connected to the Earth—through Jewish environmental education, leadership development, and climate action. Since launching in 2015, Adamah Detroit has served as a key convener and catalyst, partnering across Southeast Michigan to integrate Earth-based Judaism and environmental stewardship into Jewish communal life. Our joyful, experiential programs nurture young people’s connection to Jewish tradition and the natural world. Through leadership development and field-building initiatives, we strengthen Jewish environmental education and empower institutions to act meaningfully on climate through the Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition. Position Overview: The Adamah Detroit Program Associate is a full-time (37.5 hours/week), grant-funded position that works collaboratively across the Adamah Detroit team to design, deliver, and grow impactful Jewish environmental education and engagement initiatives. This Metro Detroit–based role is hybrid, with a mix of remote work and in-person meetings and programs throughout the region. Reliable transportation is required.
