About The Position

About The Role & Program Disney Advertising is responsible for advertising sales for The Walt Disney Company’s entertainment and sports offerings through linear, digital, social, audio and ad-supported streaming businesses. This includes ABC, ABC News, Disney Channels Worldwide, Disney Digital, ESPN Networks, ESPN+, Freeform, FX Networks, Hulu, National Geographic Networks and its eight ABC-owned local stations. We are seeking an Intern who will assist with departmental duties for the Revenue & Yield Management, Sports Analytics Team. The intern will be responsible for assisting in identifying platform revenue and competitive trends to inform on marketplace strategy and provide recommendations to maximize Ad Sales revenue. This person will also work closely with management to provide executive-level reporting on key metrics on both a recurring and ad hoc basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for media, analytics, and the Disney brand. The program dates are June 8th through August 14, 2026.

Requirements

  • Creativity, strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of prioritizing projects, embracing teamwork and working well collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York City area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Ad Sales overall
  • Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Advertising, Business, Marketing or related major preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with respective team members to create the strategy and track the revenue performance on key tentpoles and sales priorities
  • Work with your lead to help manage Disney Advertising’s daily/weekly/monthly analytics reporting accurately to enable the business to operate transparently and efficiently while capitalizing on product insights to track revenue success/opportunities
  • Run property/sport analyses across multi media portfolio to determine profitability, rating trends, and marketplace competition
  • Attend & participate in status meetings, team calls, etc., and provide summaries in order to integrate your understanding of Disney Advertising’s Analytics business
  • Present findings to all appropriate audiences on a consistent basis via email, verbally, in person, and other communication methods as deemed appropriate
  • You will be paired with team members for day-to-day guidance and be asked to manage a daily revenue report
