About The Position

About The Role & Program The Entertainment Branded Solutions department acts as a liaison between Sales and Producers to help identify, sell and execute custom opportunities that are mutually beneficial and drive revenue for the company. Our team works with a variety of departments across The Walt Disney Company including, but not limited to: Ad Sales, Programming, Legal, Standards & Practices, Marketing and Research. The purpose of product placement/product integration/branded entertainment is to give a brand exposure outside of their traditional media buy. Opportunities include those in which the characters of the show interact and talk about some of the brands attributes, branded sweepstakes, sponsor tune-in promos, etc. Some opportunities we are responsible for include: The View, Tamron Hall and GMA3’S Custom Segments & Viewer Giveaway Good Morning America Scott’s Miracle Grow Sponsorship Kelly & Ryan’s Sponsored Trivia Wheel The Bachelor/Bachelor in Paradise & Heineken American Idol & Warner Brother’s “In The Heights” Dancing with the Stars & Cars.com Country Music Award (CMA) & Chevy New Year’s Rockin’ Eve & Planet Fitness We are looking for interns who are eager to learn more about the marketing and TV industry, who want to help influence content on television and have an interest in entering into a similar field post-graduation. The program dates are June 8th through August 14, 2026.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote)
  • Strong interest in television/media and solid understanding of marketing principles
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing tasks
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging at all levels
  • Collaborative team player with creativity, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York City area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Mac systems preferred; experience with Final Cut Pro is a plus
  • Previous experience in Media or Entertainment (academic or internship)
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Business, Advertising, Liberal Arts, Marketing or related major preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participate in group brainstorms to help identify opportunities to integrate our client’s products into a show and conduct research on competition to understand the other opportunities in the marketplace
  • Produce recaps based on a variety of integrations, which includes working with the departments across the Disney Network
  • Assist in the execution of promotions including drafting rules
  • Attend staff meetings and participate when necessary
  • Work onsite when necessary (i.e. The View giveaways, Good Morning America concert series etc.)
  • Interns will need to help determine sponsorship signage is correct, manage VIP lists, distribute product giveaways to those in attendance
  • Edit and digitize integrations for promotional/highlight reels, client copies etc.
