About The Position

About the Role & Program Disney Advertising’s Sales team is seeking an intern who will be an exceptional addition to our Sales team on one or more of our exciting brands. These brands are composed of The Walt Disney Company’s global entertainment and news television properties, owned television stations, as well as radio and publishing businesses. This includes the ABC Television Network, ABC Owned Television Stations Group, ABC Studios, ESPN, Hulu, Disney Channels Worldwide, Freeform, FX and National Geographic as well as Disney/ABC Domestic Television and Disney Media Distribution. What You Will Do This is an opportunity for an individual who wants to gain exposure on how Disney helps to shape the digital entertainment marketing space. As a Sales Intern you will be immersed in the world of digital operations, learning the complexities of the sales ecosystem. You will interact and coordinate with nearly every business unit in order to understand how we receive and fulfill those advertising buys. Interns will have a unique opportunity to work cross functionally with teams inside the Disney Ad Sales landscape that drive revenue and engagement for our partners. In this role, you will support Account Executives in advertising reporting as well as account updates. Interns will have the opportunity to meet and network throughout the Disney Advertising organization by the end of the program. The program dates are June 8th through August 14, 2026.

Requirements

  • Experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working in collaborative environments, managing multiple projects and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, operating within the context of highly defined, routine processes and procedures adhering to organizational deadlines
  • Self-starter with demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York City area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of the Advertising Sales industry
  • Previous experience working in advertising, media, marketing, sales (academic or internship)
  • Active member of marketing/advertising clubs or related extracurricular activities
  • Knowledge of Disney’s multimedia properties and affinity for The Walt Disney Company
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Advertising, Business, Marketing or related major preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in reporting and campaign trafficking
  • Attending Advertising Sales meetings to learn overall strategy
  • Learning the lifecycle of a digital ad campaign
  • Working cross functionally with teams throughout the Disney Advertising organization
  • Becoming well-informed about developments within the media industry as well as advertising verticals – through project work, internal/external meetings, and industry publications
