About The Position
The Acute Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. This role ensures safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care. The position is at the Riverside Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) in Indio, which offers intensive mental health and psychiatric treatment services in a safe, welcoming environment for adults experiencing a mental health emergency. The facility is a secure 16-bed unit with a multidisciplinary team including a psychiatrist, social workers, a rehabilitation therapist, registered nurses, recovery specialists, and peer support specialists, all dedicated to supporting individuals on their recovery journey in a comfortable, structured environment.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program and current licensure
Responsibilities
- Provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician.
- Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.
