Responsibilities
- Supervises the functions of an interdisciplinary team for an assigned department(s) and is responsible for the daily operations.
- Supervises activities and provides clinical and administrative expertise for the defined program by working with patients & clinicians, developing program standards and protocols, maintaining program certifications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team in the continuum of care (acute, inpatient rehab, outpatient and community) toward delivery of patient care and program objectives.
- This position requires population specific competencies.
- Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.
