About The Position
Mountain View Pain Center is a comprehensive pain management and rehabilitation practice in Denver, CO, committed to treating the whole patient with compassion, innovation, and teamwork. They integrate chiropractic care, physical therapy, pain management, and acupuncture to create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that address pain at its source. The acupuncturist will utilize standard medical evaluation procedures and East Asian Medicine evaluation to formulate a differential diagnosis and develop an acupuncture treatment plan, incorporating various training techniques taught within East Asian Medicine and acupuncture.
Requirements
- Have an active acupuncture license in the state of Colorado, or be willing to acquire one
- Have an NPI, or be willing to acquire one
Responsibilities
- Perform acupuncture treatments on patients using sterile needles
- Develop treatment plans based on patient's condition and medical history
- Assess patient's symptoms and provide appropriate acupuncture techniques
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and its potential outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in acupuncture techniques
