Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with software used for mathematical modeling or statistical analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in an understandable way.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth through continued actuarial exam progress.

Responsibilities

  • Perform actuarial assignments and analyses involving mathematical and statistical computations.
  • Compile and categorize data for experience studies and prepare related reports.
  • Assist in preparing schedules and summaries of statistics, financial statements, premiums, reserves, and benefits.
  • Verify data and document assumptions used in computations.
  • Support team projects by gathering information and presenting results in a clear, concise format.
  • Work closely with experienced actuarial professionals who will provide mentorship and guidance as you grow.
  • Actively pursue Society of Actuaries exams and professional development toward the ASA designation.
