Requirements

Demonstrated progress toward Associateship in the SOA or CAS, including passing at least two actuarial exams within the past two years; strong analytical, problem‑solving, and research skills
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of actuarial and technical tools such as Python, VBA, ProVal, or similar modeling software; strong technical writing capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment with a high level of responsiveness and dependability

Responsibilities

Support actuarial teams through data collection, model development and review, feasibility studies, pro forma financial modeling, and preparation of actuarial reports, presentations, and client deliverables
Collaborate on new business, proposals, and client meetings while contributing to process automation, technical capability improvements, and cross‑team initiatives
Assist with special projects as needed, maintain flexibility in assigned duties, and travel annually for in‑person collaboration with Spring staff in Boston
