About The Position

About the role. The Actuarial Analyst is a key member of the Actuarial Pricing team, working closely with credentialed actuaries to support the company’s growth and profitability objectives. This role offers an immediate opportunity to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to real business decisions, with exposure across multiple lines of business and actuarial functions. What you’ll do. Assist in the development of internal home and auto indications to support strategic decision-making and state rate filings Support segmented pricing enhancements across the Home and Auto lines of business Analyze historical loss experience to improve pricing accuracy and insight Prepare exhibits, presentations, and documentation to communicate pricing strategies and initiatives to internal stakeholders Provide monthly data support and analytical insights to the Product Development and Actuarial teams Support regulatory and internal reporting requirements using industry and company data Participate in rotational opportunities across other actuarial functions within the company What we’re looking for. 0–3 years of relevant actuarial or analytical experience preferred Actively pursuing Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) credentials, with at least two actuarial exams completed and progress toward the FCAS designation Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field Experience using analytical tools and software to extract, analyze, and communicate data to support business decisions Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Experience in personal lines insurance is a plus Intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, and a desire to learn Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment The base salary for this role can range from $60,000 to $75,000 based on a full-time work schedule. An individual’s ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience Want to Learn More? Requirements

  • 0–3 years of relevant actuarial or analytical experience preferred
  • Actively pursuing Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) credentials, with at least two actuarial exams completed and progress toward the FCAS designation
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
