Actuary Analyst, General Reinsurance Corporation, Stamford, CT: Role Description Support development of In-Force transactions leveraging portfolio analytics infrastructure. Record and prioritize In-Force management activities with other functions within General Reinsurance Life Review and validate historical financial results. Develop and analyze future profitability on blocks of business. Support In-Force related client requests. 100% telecommuting permitted. Candidate may reside/work from anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience.
  • Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience utilizing Excel including VBA and PowerQuery.
  • Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in all of the following: Utilizing GGY AXIS for modeling of insurance and annuity products, including building cells/subfunds/overrides, implementing assumption changes, Datalink functionality, running batch projections and sensitivity analysis for large datasets, debugging any possible errors, and interpreting and validating output for Regular Life and Disability Modules;
  • SQL, including writing scripts involving multiple tables/databases
  • R, including writing scripts for predictive modeling on actuarial datasets.
