About The Position

As a member of our multidisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT), you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive substance abuse assessments that describes the relationship between the member's mental health and substance use. You will serve as a consultant and educator to fellow ACTT members regarding integrated dual disorder treatment. Requirements

  • Two years' experience working directly with adults with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • LCAS, LCAS-A or CADC required
  • Ability to work with a diverse client population as well as collaborate with a team of diverse professionals and is able to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through cultural humility
  • Demonstrate skills to set firm boundaries with clients
  • Excellent clinical skills including: evidence-based practices, diagnostic information (DSM 5), substance use intervention
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Comfortable working independently in the community
  • Excellent written/ documentation skills
  • Familiar working in an electronic health records system
  • Ability to manage crisis situations both in person and over the phone

Nice To Haves

  • Two years' experience working in community mental health setting, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of natural support networks
  • Individual and group supportive counseling
  • Monitor symptoms and medications and link the individual to the appropriate services, agencies and supports in the community
  • Write, implement, evaluate, and revise client's person-centered plan and overall treatment goals
  • Participate in on-call crisis intervention rotation
  • Review treatment progress and provide continuous consultation with other Assertive Community Treatment Team staff
  • Ensure immediate and appropriate interventions are provided in response to changes in mental status which may put individual at risk.
  • Follow service definition guidelines for services being provided

Licensures eligible to receive this benefit include LCSWA, LCMHCA, LMFTA, LPA, LCASA, and CADC.
