Requirements

• Certification : Willingness to obtain Company-sponsored Activity Director certification as required.
• Compassion and Enthusiasm : Demonstrated love for working with seniors, and a zest for life.
• Effective Communication : Skilled in both written and oral communication with diverse audiences.
• Valid Credentials : A valid driver’s license; must undergo background and motor vehicle checks.
• Residency within the State that this Community/Location operates in is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Innovative Program Development : Craft and execute a diverse schedule of meaningful activities and events that resonate with residents.
• Community Connection : Prepare and distribute monthly newsletters and calendars; arrange for community groups to visit.
• Team Empowerment : Educate, train, and inspire team members to foster meaningful connections and a strong community.
• Personalized Touch : Compile biographies on each new resident, ensuring a warm and customized welcome to the Community.
• Event Coordination : Create ambiance by decorating common areas for special events and holidays.
• Resource Management : Maintain inventory and manage budget, aligning with the community’s goals and standards.
