Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check and eligibility for employment
• Recognition of the needs and concerns of others, and the ability to build relationships with others from different backgrounds
• Ability to physically meet the demands as needed

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and conducts activity programs
• Plans and schedules trips and outside activities; arranges for transportation and supervision
• Assists in developing and printing a newsletter that includes articles of past and future activities
• Assists in planning appropriate programs for holidays and special events
• Meets with each resident upon move-in to introduce the activities program and to learn of resident’s interests and likes/dislikes
• Design events to meet the interests of the residents
• Responds creatively to resident’s requests for programs and activities
• Participates and assists in marketing and staff functions
