Responsible for providing leadership for the development and implementation of an effective, activity program for the participants at the PACE program which stimulate emotional, physical, and social skills in a group and home setting. This position works under very limited supervision. Work situations are varied and frequently non-routine. This position requires independent thinking, creativity, conceptual planning and development skills, decision-making, use of good judgment and discretion, leadership, and strong interpersonal skills. Internal contacts include departmental staff. External contacts will include participants, families/caregivers, physicians, and community agencies.
