The Activity Aide will be responsible for assisting the Activity Director in planning, coordinating, and directing the residents’ activity program. This role involves facilitating both individual and group activities tailored to the specific needs of residents, ensuring engagement for both high and low functioning individuals. The Activity Aide also collaborates with the Activity Director in organizing various employee and non-employee events for the facility, assists with scheduling beauty parlor and barber activities, and provides one-to-one activities for bedfast residents. Key duties also include preparing and posting monthly activity calendars, distributing them to residents, assisting with the facility newsletter, participating in community events, and delivering resident mail daily. The aide is also expected to assist residents to and from activities and support night and weekend activities as needed.
