About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and energetic Activity Professional to join our team in an assisted living community. This part-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys building meaningful connections and enhancing the lives of seniors through engaging activities.
Requirements
- Experience in activities, recreation, caregiving, or senior services preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Creative mindset with a passion for working with seniors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead engaging activities for residents
- Encourage participation and build positive relationships with residents
- Support group and one-on-one activities (games, crafts, music, outings, etc.)
- Assist with community events and holiday celebrations
- Maintain activity calendars and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to meet residents’ social and emotional needs
