Edenbrook Yeadon is seeking a dedicated and Part-time Activity Aide to join our team. This is a Union position. The Activity Aide responsible for creating and implementing stimulating programs that meet the physical, emotional and psychosocial needs of the residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and emotional needs of our residents
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and every day
• Help design programs to encourage socialization
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
• Prepare and maintain reports on resident's progress
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation
