About The Position
Activity Aide Location: Optalis - Kent Crossings 2320 East Beltline Ave SE. Grand Rapids, MI 49546 Are you passionate about bringing joy, energy, and meaningful engagement to others? We're looking for a dynamic Activity Assistant to help plan and lead recreational programs that enrich the lives of our residents. Whether it's arts and crafts, music, games, or outings, you'll be at the heart of creating memorable experiences.

- Creative with painting, music, playing games, cooking
- Working with adults with medical disabilities
- Computer skills
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize recreational activities for adults with medical disabilities
- Assist in the implementation of activities such as painting, music, playing games, and cooking
- Provide support and encouragement to participants during activities
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of activity areas
- Maintain accurate records of participant attendance and participation in activities
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and staff
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
