Responsibilities center on working as a part of a team at events of varying sizes and purposes in the activities department at Pueblo El Mirage Resort. Events may include concerts, dances, happy hours, trivia nights, luncheons, vendor shows, etc. Locations to include Coyote Grill, banquet hall, pool and other amenities.

Requirements

  • Skills: team player, critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal, time management, customer service, attention to detail
  • Must be flexible and highly adaptable to various situations and resident needs
  • Current Arizona Food Handlers Card (if applicable)
  • Current Acquire AZ Title 4 Basic Liquor Law Training certificate (if applicable)
  • Be available to work nights and weekends
  • Physical Activities: frequent standing and walking up to 5 hours per shift
  • Lifting Requirements: frequently lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Environment Conditions: rarely extreme heat, frequent temperature changes & noise

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents and guests
  • Answer resident activity and Amenities questions
  • Assist residents with activity ticket purchases and event sign up
  • Support Activity Office staff
  • Keep the front office organized, clean and presentable
  • Maintain current event and activity flyer displays
  • Cashiering for evening/night events as needed
  • Makes sure audience members are in proper seat
  • Ensures all fire codes are followed by keeping aisles clear
  • Provides basic information such as length of event, location of restroom
  • Checks on the cleanliness of restrooms, takes out trash
  • Manages cash box, tickets
  • Receives cash/gives change to resident
  • Moves chairs, tables to location for event
  • Decorates, adds chair signs,
  • Takes out trash
