Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work with children and adults and lead the Activities Team in a fair and measured manner.
- Comfortable being outdoors and standing for lengths of time in a variety of weather conditions.
- Comfortable being guest-facing and interacting with all our guests.
- Enjoy physical activity.
- Enjoy being outside in variable weather conditions.
- Able to work on weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and ages of people.
- Confidence in ability to instruct groups and enforce procedures.
- Excellent understanding of teamwork and communication with peers and supervisors.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and ages of people.
- High level of patience and able to cope well with stress.
- Strong guest services skills.
- Can work in a team environment and support their coworkers by being peer leaders.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting facilities and keeping equipment maintained and in safe working order.
- Setting up the staff’s daily schedules and lunch breaks.
- Swapping out Bungee Motors – training provided.
- Assist with all opening and closing duties
- Scan tickets for activity areas
- Greet and orient guests to activity
- Assist guests and explain basic activity procedures
- Verify guest’s weight and age to properly equip with appropriate personal protection equipment and apply designated wristband when necessary
- Follow standard activity protocols to mitigate risks
- Belay guests on climbing wall; facilitate bungee trampoline experience - you will get belay certified for our rock wall
- Assist Summer Camp Counselors, indoor help (> 16 yr old)
- Working with Summer Camp Staff to arrange the campers’ schedules for activities
