Activities Assistant / Life Enrichment Assistant (Full-Time)

This position plays a key role in helping our residents live life to the fullest — both inside and outside the community. About 25% of your time will be spent on transportation, ensuring residents get safely to appointments, outings, and events that keep them active and engaged.

Requirements

• A clean driving record and confidence driving a 14-passenger bus.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with seniors.
• A creative, organized, and team-oriented approach.
• Comfort using technology like iPads and scheduling tools.
• Availability to work Saturdays and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive our 14-passenger bus for group outings, personal appointments, and community events.
• Assist in planning and leading engaging programs that nurture the mind, body, and spirit.
• Welcome new residents and help them feel at home.
• Capture great moments for our community TV displays and social media.
• Coordinate volunteers and support weekend activities.
• Keep our community festive by helping with seasonal and holiday décor.
• Represent American House with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
