Requirements

Should possess such attributes as flexibility, patience, and creativity.
Provide recreational programs in a manner that is respectful of individual choices and will promote resident participation.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
Ability to work in close cooperation with residents and guests.
Perform all assigned tasks according to our established policies and procedures and as instructed by your supervisor.
Follow work assignments and work schedules in completing and performing your assigned tasks.
Must have valid driver's license to drive a 14-passenger van.
Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes as required.
Attend and participate in scheduled orientation programs and activities.
Attend and participate in facility in-servicing programs as instructed.

Responsibilities

Must be a self-starter to be able to work independently to plan and coordinate meaningful activities for our residents.
Responsible for leading and assisting residents with activities throughout the day to meet their individual needs and may be implemented in a group or an individual setting.
Provide recreational programs in a manner that is respectful of individual choices and will promote resident participation.
Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our residents and their guests.
Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Lifestyles.
