SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Activities Assistant helps create fun, engaging daily programs that enhance the quality of life for our dementia residents. Responsibilities include assisting with planning and leading activities, transporting residents to community outings, supporting calendar preparation, and helping plan and decorate for holidays and special events. The role also involves assisting and supervising residents during activities, observing and reporting changes in health or mental status, and maintaining organized activity supplies and inventory. We currently have available: 28 hours, part-time; required to work every other weekend and on holidays
