Requirements

  • Previous experience working with seniors or in a recreational activities role preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards seniors
  • Ability to lift and assist residents as needed
  • Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational activities and social events for residents
  • Provide companionship and support to residents during activities to promote engagement and well-being
  • Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and community functions as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment during activities and transportation
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure residents’ needs are met and activities are tailored to their interests
