What we're looking for in a Bus Driver The Bus Driver position requires a valid CDL with a Passenger "P" Endorsement, as it demonstrates your readiness to transport seniors safely and comfortably. A clean driving record in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations is also a must, ensuring you prioritize safety on the road. Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test is also required. In addition to technical qualifications, strong interpersonal skills are vital for this role. You will interact daily with our residents, requiring patience, empathy, and a friendly demeanor. As a Driver with a CDL plus Passenger endorsement, your skills will shine as you navigate the various places our residents visit. Your expected schedule will include a mix of days, weekends, and evenings, allowing flexibility while meeting the transportation needs of our community. Daily routes will include various scheduled appointments, outings, and events, making every day varied and rewarding. Being punctual is essential, as you play a vital role in maintaining the routine and comfort of our residents' lives. Your dedication will contribute significantly to the seamless operation of our senior care services. Being adept at following scheduled routes and managing time efficiently is crucial, as you'll need to balance multiple pickups and drop-offs. Familiarity with navigation tools and basic vehicle maintenance will further enhance your effectiveness, ensuring that every journey is smooth and enjoyable for our senior community. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: CDL with Passenger "P" Endorsement. Clean driving record with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
