Requirements

Six months experience in a social/recreational program within the last five years
Lift and carry up to 25lbs.
Ability to pass background checks required by a licensed residential care facility
All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility.
Some of the roles in our community require that we ask about your COVID-19 vaccination status.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with the elderly and dementia population preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting with the coordination of comprehensive activity events to meet the leisure and recreation needs of our residents
Assisting with transporting residents to and from activity programs
Initiates, creates and publicizes special events and field trips on the monthly Activities calendar
Maintains high visibility during activities; assumes a proactive role in resolving resident issues and concerns related to activity programs
Other duties as assigned
