Shift Details: FT, Days What You’ll Do As an Activities Aide ( CNA) in our long-term care environment, you’ll be an essential part of our patient care team, helping residents with daily living activities and supporting our nursing staff. Key responsibilities include: Works with Activities Director, other Activity Department members, and Volunteers to provide a stimulating, enriching environment by providing a variety of social, educational and recreational activities to meet the individual needs of the Care Center residents. Assists with the planning and implementation of activities for residents. Assists in developing programs to encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation and fulfillment; and improve daily living skills. Develops and conducts a variety of programs and activities for all levels of patient ability, this includes arts and crafts, reading groups, games, gardening, exercise programs, social programs, etc. Develops and maintains a good rapport with department members, other staff and volunteers involved with the care plan to cultivate a team effort in resident care. Interacts with residents, family members, staff, etc. under all conditions. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Active Colorado CNA license
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 2 years of CNA experience preferred
