As an Active Part Dryer and Treater, you will be responsible for the operation and control of ovens, vacuum pumps, filters, and other necessary equipment for the drying of transformer active parts and other processes. This position is designed for someone who brings a blend of technical expertise and a commitment to safety and quality compliance. As you progress in your job role, you would be able to support us in growing the department by assisting in the training and development of new hires in the organization.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent with relevant technical training/experience.
At least 1 years of experience handling and operating pumps, filters, large industrial ovens (transformer drying ovens)
Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community colleges
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.
Must also be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on-the-job training for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area of training. Appropriate relocation support and compensation will be provided.

Responsibilities

Operates ovens for drying transformer active parts, vacuum pumps for oil filling, and filtration equipment for oil treatment, while monitoring each process
Performs periodic inspections and maintenance checks on equipment, ensuring compliance with technical standards and conducting quality checks throughout the process
Supports the development and upkeep of technical instructions and maintains process documentation for drying and oil treatment procedures
Training and mentoring of new hires into department.
Planning and reviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plan and manufacturing standards.
Responsible to fulfill and/or to support to fulfill all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.].
