About The Position

We are seeking an Activation team member to play an important role within our Creative Services department. Reporting directly to the Art Director, you will design digitally and physically help install new elements for our pop-up events. This position is instrumental in bringing creative visions to life and maintaining the artistic integrity of our installations, while adhering to brand direction set by clients. This is a contract position with the possibility of turning into a full-time. You will not be considered without a submitted portfolio Location: On site at hello82 LA, 7323 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036 Work Hours: Monday-Friday 10:30AM-7:30PM

Requirements

MUST provide a portfolio.
Creative problem solving, brainstorming and flexibility to collaborate with others in creating solutions.
A collaborative, can-do attitude working as a positive member of the team.
You must be able to drive a pickup truck.
Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and asset adaptation.
Advanced proficiency in painting, sculpting, and fabricating.
Experience or education in scenic arts, fine arts, graphic design, or interactive design.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the production managing, project budgeting, or professional print shop is an asset.

Responsibilities

Participate in concept ideation and research sessions to contribute innovative ideas.
Assist in planning and gathering necessary supplies for pop-up installations and production shoots.
Prepare materials for fabrication, including drawing, painting, and sculpting.
Perform assembly and installation tasks.
Travel to pop-up locations in other states.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and ongoing projects.
Propose ideas to improve efficiency and finish of pop-up elements.
