About The Position
The UA ACTivate Peer Coach supports UA ACTivate with the successful transition of high school students to a college level experience that promotes independent living on a college campus. Encourages dedication and the successful completion of each summer camp session. Helps with summer move-in for ACTivate students during Session I & Session II camps. Monitors nightly residence hall activities. Completes health & safety checks in residence halls. Participates in campus events with ACTivate students. Communicates with ACTivate staff for appropriate concerns and issues.
Requirements
- Current University of Alabama undergraduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Must live in a campus residential facility from June 9-19, 2026, and July 8-17, 2026.
- Must be able to participate in both Session I and Session II camps during the above dates.
Nice To Haves
- Students who participated in UA Early College courses and/or Summer on Campus while in high school.
