Acquisition Support Specialist The Opportunity: As an acquisition management professional, you know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to your clients’ missions. We’re looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation. As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to impact our country’s defense acquisition and contract process. You’ll complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll deliver meaningful acquisition support. This requirement demands expert-level acquisition and contracting support for complex programs with strong strategic thinking and an ability to manage intricate acquisition challenges. This role will ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations, assist in the development of acquisition strategies, and manage procurement activities throughout the program lifecycle. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting federal acquisition processes throughout the entire lifecycle from initial planning and requirements through contract award, administration, and closeout, ensuring compliance with FAR or DFARS and agency-specific regulations
  • Ability to assist with the development of Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARP), including acquisition documentation such as Procurement Work Directives (PWD) or Statements of Work (SOW), and within the parameters of OCI and NDA guardrails
  • Ability to provide contractual insight recommendations through synthesizing inputs from technical, contracting, and program management sources to drive the timely completion of acquisition documentation
  • Ability to support the preparation and review of pre-award documentation with stakeholders, to ensure accuracy and compliance with FAR, DFARS, or AFARS, and agency or organization guidelines
  • Ability to review, monitor, and track contract documentation for completed awards with an emphasis on financial reviews, invoicing monitoring, and contract data requirements lists (CDRLs) submissions
  • Ability to provide regulatory reviews of CDRLs to assist with conformance for final reject or acceptance by contracting officials
  • Ability to support the maintenance of program documentation across the acquisition lifecycle
  • Ability to assist with data collection, reporting, contract file audits, and readiness documentation
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
