About The Position

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking an Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst professional with 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description, with at least 1 of those years demonstrating experience with program milestone related documentation and program acquisition reports. Supporting Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Program Office (PMA-234), at Patuxent River, MD. Requirements

3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description
At least 1 of those years demonstrating experience with program milestone related documentation and program acquisition reports.
BA or BS degree in a relevant technical discipline, business administration, engineering, acquisition management, or related field supporting program management functions.
Condition of employment – The applicant must have and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; be found eligible for TS. All applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
The applicant must have US citizenship at the time of application.

Nice To Haves

At least three (3) years of experience in the NAVAIR program management, technical, and business analysis discipline, related to acquisition and life cycle management.

Responsibilities

At least 1 of those years demonstrating experience with program milestone related documentation and program acquisition reports.
Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives
Assists with program digital reporting tools such as DAVE, Qlik Sense Enterprise, RDA Information System (RDAIS), and the Procurement Management Tool (PMT).
Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares, and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards

Participates in technical reviews, working groups, and acquisition-related meetings
Supports development of acquisition strategies and cost estimates for Government consideration
