About The Position

As an Acquisition Management Specialist, you’ll bring your analytical, strategic, and technical expertise to work on projects for the United States Marine Corps. You’ll provide acquisition and programmatic support for Tactical Logistics Systems (TLS). You will support multiple tasks across multiple efforts simultaneously, identify schedule conflicts within and between efforts, and develop options to deconflict. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes. You’ll guide the work we do for the USMC that provides development, sustainment, and service desk capabilities to Marine Corps operators. The solutions we deliver provide programmatic support for the Marine Corps mission. Requirements

  • Experience analyzing and developing acquisition and technical documentation, and offering valuable feedback and solutions
  • Experience working in Department of War (DoW) acquisition environments
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail and effectively coordinate activities across competencies and teams
  • Ability to draft accurate and error-free documentation with minimal oversight
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project
  • Experience working in a military environment
  • Knowledge of DoDI 5000.75 and DoDI 5000-87
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
