About The Position

Aalis Management Consulting, an 8(a) certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), is seeking an Acquisition Management Support SME. The company is guided by principles of excellence in reputation, commitment, candor, teamwork, and dependability, and delivers support in Acquisition & Procurement, (IT) Financial Management, Program Management, and Logistics & Supply Chain. This role is to support a federal agency, focusing on assisting program offices with the development, review, and validation of acquisition requirements and documentation. The SME will specifically support the Acquisition Liaison Team (ALT) by reviewing 50–70 procurement packages annually and providing daily acquisition support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Acquisition Management Support
  • Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes and FAR
  • Excellent communication and training skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and review acquisition documentation (SOW, PWS, SOO, market research, acquisition plans)
  • Support pre-solicitation packages, including PR packages, QASP, evaluation criteria, and J&As
  • Collaborate with program offices and Contracting Officers to ensure compliance and clarity
  • Participate in acquisition planning and pre-proposal activities
  • Deliver 12 formal training sessions annually, plus ad-hoc training
  • Provide guidance across the acquisition lifecycle (planning through administration)
  • Recommend and support process improvements and best practices
