About The Position

Acquisition Management Professional, Mid The Opportunity: Determine appropriate acqui sit ion approach based on DoD 5000 Adaptive Acqui sit ion Framework ( AAF ) . Draft, analyze, and coordinate approval of acqui sit ion program documentation based on selected AAF pathway, including an Acqui sit ion Strategy, Cybersecurity Strategy, Program Protection Plan, Cost Analysis Requirements Description, Acqui sit ion Program Baseline, and Acqui sit ion Decision Memorandums. Leverage expertise in acqui sit ions for integrated product teams regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy analysis updates impacting acqui sit ion documentation requirements. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including the program Sponsor, Requirements Officer, and Operational Test Authority to ensure successful program execution and obtain concurrence on an acqui sit ion way-ahead. Execute acqui sit ion requirements, including the DoD 5000 series, SECNAVINST 5000.2G, and Defense Acqui sit ion Guides. You Have: 2+ years of experience with DoD Acqui sit ion in an acqui sit ion program office, Program Executive Officer’s office, or DoD Acqui sit ion command Experience with DoD acqui sit ion documentation, including Acqui sit ion Strategies, Acqui sit ion Program Baselines, Acqui sit ion Decision Memorandums, and Acqui sit ion Decision Review briefs Experience with using Micro sof t Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to be a self-starter, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with a Navy acqui sit ion program office or program management Experience with Urgent Capab ility, Middle Tier, or Sof tware acqui sit ion pathways Experience with Risk Management Experience with Defense Acqui sit ion program capab ility requirements procedures Experience taking a program to a Milestone or Production decision Experience with Integrated Master Schedule or Micro sof t Project Knowledge of Federal Acqui sit ion Regulations ( FAR ) and DFARS TS / SCI clearance PMI PMP Certification Clearance : Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with DoD Acqui sit ion in an acqui sit ion program office, Program Executive Officer’s office, or DoD Acqui sit ion command
  • Experience with DoD acqui sit ion documentation, including Acqui sit ion Strategies, Acqui sit ion Program Baselines, Acqui sit ion Decision Memorandums, and Acqui sit ion Decision Review briefs
  • Experience with using Micro sof t Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to be a self-starter, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
