About the role: Boston Scientific is looking to fill two (2), new Acquisition Labeling Lead positions. The Acquisition Labeling Lead serves as the primary point of contact for all matters related to acquisitions, product literature, and labeling. As the resident expert, this role works closely with assigned practitioners and Project Management to develop effective labeling strategies, while managing project schedules and deliverables to support global acquisition efforts and ensure labeling content adheres to all applicable procedures and quality standards. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three (3) days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional, labeling experience
  • Experience working in medical device industry or similar, highly-regulated environment
  • Experience working with medical electrical equipment or similar capital equipment
  • Ability to travel (domestic and international) at varying frequencies, ranging from 5%-30%, based on acquisition projects

Nice To Haves

  • Direct technical writing experience
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project

Responsibilities

  • Independently coordinate product labeling deliverables for highly visible, complex projects, overseeing desktop publishing and artwork generation for labeling components, including labels, IFUs, cartons, sterile barriers, etc.
  • Working with executive leaders, functional managers, and team members to set project strategy, priorities, and scope
  • Partnering with project and functional managers to develop pre- and post-integration plan and strategy
  • Developing deliverable schedules and establishing milestones to track progress and ensure on-time completion; communicating project status, challenges, and successes on a regular basis to project and functional management
  • Gaining insight and clarity on requirements, issues, and resolutions and communicating project information to leadership, stakeholders, and reviewers
  • Gathering inputs and source data to lead cross-functional teams through labeling content development; managing drafts, implementing changes, and tracking revisions
  • Supporting critical project milestones and addressing issues related to labeling programs, processes, and content; guiding, mentoring, and training earlier-career labeling practitioners
  • Leveraging expertise with labeling procedures, requirements, and quality system to ensure accuracy and full compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements; ensuring all labeling content is complete and meets customer needs
  • Coordinate the implementation and release of labeling deliverables, including implementing product labeling through Boston Scientific's Document Control System
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation; promoting and improving content consistency across labeling
