Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG), formerly Tidewater Primary Care Physicians, P.C., was formed in 1992 with four primary care medical groups in Newport News, Hampton, and Yorktown, Virginia. At TPMG Beach Primary Care we are committed to providing all of our patients with compassionate, high-quality care. We provide comprehensive preventative healthcare, including annual physicals, women’s health exams, and Medicare wellness exams. We also provide care for the management of numerous chronic illnesses, as well as acute health problems. We are seeking a part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The right candidate will join a team consisting of two Physicians and will be supported by an experienced administrative and clinical team that perform clinical administrative tasks freeing you to focus on patients. The right candidate would be conscientious, empathetic, a good communicator and organized. Position details: Part-time position: 20-28 hours per week (flexible). Schedule is negotiable but would prefer 4-5 days per week from 8.00am -12.00pm. Can include virtual visits/remote work 1 day per week. Sick visits only. Average 10-12 patients per day. Experience is not necessary. Busy, growing practice in Virginia Beach, VA. Majority private insurance patients. Competitive Salary. Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Current DEA license
- Current national board certification
- Current CPR certification.
