Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG), formerly Tidewater Primary Care Physicians, P.C., was formed in 1992 with four primary care medical groups in Newport News, Hampton, and Yorktown, Virginia. TPMG Newport News Internal Medicine are seeking a full-time Advanced Care Practitioner to join our team. TPMG Newport News Internal Medicine has been serving patients in Newport News and the surrounding areas since 1978. We are currently seeking an Advanced Care Practitioner to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be a team player who is organized, energetic, efficient, and able to manage the pressures of a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service to our patients. We require you to be eager to learn, friendly, and a self-starter with the motivation to give attention to detail daily. Position details: Established, busy, growing practice in Newport News, VA Full-time position: Monday-Thursday 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m., Friday 8:00a.m.-3:30p.m. No in-patient requirements Majority private insurance patients Hampton Roads/Tidewater is a well-known coastal community with a strong military presence. It’s also a college town with 33 local universities, colleges, and trade schools that train and prepare our future workforce. Requirements

  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Current DEA license
  • Current national board certification
  • Current CPR certification
