About The Position
Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are advanced practice registered nurses who provide high-quality, comprehensive, and patient-centered care, often acting as primary or specialty care providers. They possess the authority to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses, interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications. Key duties include conducting physical exams, developing treatment plans, and focusing on health promotion and disease prevention.
Requirements
- Education: A Master’s or Doctorate degree in nursing is required.
- Certification: Must be licensed as a registered nurse (RN) and certified by a national board (e.g., AANP, ANCC).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for patient counseling and team collaboration.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to make fast, sound clinical decisions.

Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Taking detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations.
