About The Position

The acoustic analyst will collect, organize, process and manually vet bat acoustic data collected by CNHP researchers and other partners.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Biology, Zoology, Wildlife Biology or related field and bat acoustic analysis experience
  • Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires).
  • Valid Driver’s License. Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date.

Nice To Haves

  • M.S. in Biology, Zoology, Wildlife Biology or related field and 6 months of bat acoustic analysis experience

Responsibilities

  • Organization of bat acoustic data collected by other researchers
  • Analysis of bat acoustic data to identify bat sound files to species using specialized software
