About The Position

The Accreditation and Regulatory Coordinator is responsible for the routine evaluation, policy creation, implementation and monitoring of regulatory requirements with the goal to improve internal and external compliance for the organization. Works with multi-disciplinary teams and shares best practices for the management, coordination, and integration of regulatory functions at the hospital, outpatient departments, and off-site campuses. This individual will oversee, coordinate, and perform regulatory activities to ensure full and constant compliance with regulatory requirements including CMS, The Joint Commission, state health departments, OSHA, FDA, and disease-specific accreditations and designations as needed. This individual will conduct audits to identify non-conformities, opportunities for improvement, and address them through effective corrective action planning. This individual will assess the effectiveness of the organization’s regulatory preparedness and outcomes to improve the quality of patient care in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field required
  • 1-2 years of healthcare experience required
  • Communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of healthcare experience preferred
  • Flexibility in hours during surveys
