The Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager is responsible for overseeing the invoicing procedures, managing customer credit requests, and leading a team of accounts receivable specialists. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards while fostering collaboration between departments to resolve account-related issues. The position also involves analyzing key metrics to improve the accounts receivable function and maintaining accurate records.

  • Manage and enhance invoicing procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Evaluate and approve customer credit requests in line with company policies.
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries related to billing, account balances, and other related issues.
  • Collaborate with the customer service and sales departments to resolve account-related issues.
  • Lead a team of accounts receivable specialists, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee staff performance evaluations, goal setting, and development initiatives.
  • Prepare and distribute reports related to invoicing, credit processing, and customer inquiries.
  • Analyze key metrics and KPIs for the accounts receivable function, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to streamline accounts receivable workflows.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of credit memos, adjustments, and refunds.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to credits and adjustments.
  • Continuously review and improve invoicing and credit processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable Management or similar role.
  • Expertise in various Accounting Software Systems.
  • Proficiency in handling Accounting Functions.
  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Familiarity with Billing Functions.
  • Ability to Approve Credit in accordance with the company's financial policies.
  • Strong knowledge in Excel Formulas.
  • Experience in using NetSuite software.
  • Proficiency in using Zendesk and Salesforce Platform.
  • Managerial experience would be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Managerial experience would be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $85,000 a year.
