About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for posting insurance payments, patient payments and processing electronic remittance advice accurately and timely. Works patient and insurance credits, per department policy. Scans and indexes, as needed, per department policy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 Year of Ten-Key experience required.
• 1 to 2 Years of experience in a Medical Office preferred.
• 1 Year of EOB/INS Correspondence experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post insurance payments and patient payments accurately and timely.
• Process electronic remittance advice.
• Work on patient and insurance credits according to department policy.
• Scan and index documents as needed.
