In this role, you will support the Central Billing Office, working closely with billing supervisors and specialists, practice managers, and others to ensure optimal revenue cycle efficiency and patient satisfaction. This position plays a crucial role in the efficient and effective financial operations of the hospital and helps make a life-changing difference. Allow your outstanding communication skills and superior multitasking abilities to shine as you take on this critical role, where you can showcase your knowledge of CMS and other insurance carrier guidelines, CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers, and experience with claim corrections and appeals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of CMS 1500 forms
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written
  • Knowledge of insurance websites (verifying eligibility, benefits, claim status, processing corrected claims, appeals online when applicable).
  • Working knowledge of revenue cycle process; Patient registration, billing, denial tracking/resolution, accounts receivable, local/state/federal regulations, medical terminology, and payer contract familiarity.
  • Computer and systems competency in the following areas: working knowledge of health systems and interfaces, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and electronic health records.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of EPIC
  • Three (3) + years of experience in revenue cycle operations
  • Three (3) + years of working PB experience
