The Accounts Receivable Rep I position at AmTrust Financial, a multi-national insurance holding company, is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their skills in the Accounts Receivable or Commission Payable processing functions. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including handling Pay As You Owe (PAYO®), processing Premium Refunds, and managing both Agency Billed and Direct Billed Payments and Commissions. The representative will be tasked with multiple administrative duties to ensure the effective, efficient, and accurate servicing of policies. This includes accelerating the processing of policy changes requested by insured parties, agents, and underwriters, as well as processing payments from customers and resolving issues in accordance with established department procedures. In this role, the Accounts Receivable Rep will prepare information for clients, agents, and service partners following specified procedures and instructions. The position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The representative will also be responsible for generating premium refund batches for various policy types, reviewing and issuing refunds within a specified timeframe, and assisting agents, insureds, and underwriters with complex policy disputes. Error-free data entry is crucial to ensure the accuracy of premium or commission processing, and the representative will also perform account reconciliations and standard policy maintenance requests. The role demands excellent customer service skills, as the representative will research and resolve discrepancies related to payments or commissions. Additionally, the representative will generate and review daily reports within the policy system and act as a functional team member supporting production needs while adhering to established corporate and department policies and procedures.
