Tri-City Cardiology has been serving the healthcare needs of the East Valley for over 40 years. We are searching for an Accounts Receivable Rep to join our team! This position provides daily support for the financial services of our patients. Incumbents perform daily payment posting of financial information, and initiate necessary follow-up in order to receive proper reimbursement for all services rendered.

  • Monitors accounts receivables by utilizing monthly reports to determine payer/self-pay issues in all aging buckets.
  • Researches all insurance denials and documents all related information to obtain maximum payments utilizing third party vendors (Appeals Plus, etc.).
  • Explains and discusses TCC’s financial policy to patients, determining patient responsibilities including co-pays, coinsurance, deductibles and time of service payments. Determine payment options for patients unable to pay at time of service.
  • Handles phone calls from insurance companies and patients regarding payments and balances due.
  • Assists other departments to ensure accurate insurance information is available in patient charts, and performs Medicare eligibility.
  • Verifies patient eligibility with insurance companies.
  • Works with collection agency for all delinquent accounts.
  • Posts patient payments, including collection agency payments.
  • Work all EHR billing related tasks and correspondence.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of collections experience.
  • All employees must be able to provide proof of their identity and their right to work in the United States
  • Two to five years of experience with insurance companies preferred.
