We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager with over 10 years of experience working in healthcare accounts receivable or revenue cycle management to join our team in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry. As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing and collections process, ensuring timely and accurate payments from payors. Your main goal will be to maintain positive relationships with payors, vendors, and internal partners, while maximizing cash flow for the organization. You will work closely with the rest of the RCM team to develop and implement strategies to improve the accounts receivable process and reduce outstanding balances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in accounts receivable management in the healthcare field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including ability to utilize Pivot Tables to analyze healthcare A/R data such as aging reports, payer performance, or denial trends
  • Must have experience managing multi-state, multi-practice & multi-subspecialty A/R for Surgi-centers and/or clinics
  • Must have ability to handle high volume A/R for multi-state, multi-practice & multi-subspecialty A/R for Surgi-centers and/or clinics
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to make informed decisions

Nice To Haves

  • Ophthalmology A/R experience preferred
  • Nextgen EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and cash application
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure timely payments
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement strategies to improve the accounts receivable process
  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify and resolve issues
  • Provide regular reporting to management on the status of accounts receivable balances
