About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Manager at Schreiber Foods is responsible for the development, implementation, and control of credit and collection policies globally, aimed at reducing credit loss and managing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). This role involves leading the global process for Accounts Receivable, ensuring standardized and controlled processes are deployed throughout the organization, and safeguarding company assets against fraud. The manager will also lead a team, analyze accounts receivable data, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5 years of experience in Credit and Accounts Receivable management.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international credit and collection procedures.
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable systems and both mainframe and PC-based systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of bankruptcy laws.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global process for Accounts Receivable, ensuring standard policies and procedures are followed.
  • Work with Legal to mitigate potential bankruptcy risks.
  • Represent Accounts Receivable in corporate initiatives and projects.
  • Analyze accounts receivable data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and communicate the status of accounts receivables.
  • Recommend and implement changes to improve working capital.
  • Safeguard company assets and protect against fraud by enhancing internal controls.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer master data procedures.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team, establishing performance goals and training opportunities.
  • Design systems for efficient invoice and collection processes.
  • Network with other companies to benchmark best practices.
  • Participate in Credit-related meetings and forums.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Plans, and customer requirements.
